All of the charting and graphing components, including llinechart, remain at "beta" quality. The code has been barely touched, if at all, since these components were introduced. This is a matter of resources, as the entire OpenLaszlo team is focused on the work necessary to support multiple runtimes (and other improvements for the anticiapted 4.0 release).
In particular, I haven't done much documentation for them, and I'm not planning to get to them for a while, because I have so many other more pressing things to fix. I do, of course, hope to greatly improve the charting and graphing documentation eventually. But for now, "what you see is what you get". I'll leave it to Jim or Amy to comment further on the official status and prospects for improvement of this part of OpenLaszlo.
