Hi George, Actually, there have been a number of bug fixes and improvements to the charting and graphing components since their introduction. Many of these came from community members. We all agree that there is more work to do in this area, but you can definitely use them. And, if you have any suggestions/comments or time to send us improvements, please do so!
As for what version of OpenLaszlo you should use, we recommend always using the current release. We will be releasing a 3.3.1 patch shortly (this week) to address the simplelayout regression that John mentioned.
