Hi Andre, The IDE is not written in Java, so there will be no Eclipse plug-in. It's written in an obscure and proprietary framework, and I don't anticipate that it will be open-source. The fact that IDE4Laszlo died (even when there are a huge number of Java programmers who could have kept it going), suggests to me that there is not enough community momentum to maintain an open-source IDE for Laszlo.
The IDE will be commercially available. If it doesn't add significant value, then I guess they won't buy it. But I believe that unless OpenLaszlo has an IDE it will be totally eclipsed by Flex. And that would be a pity. Bernard -- View this message in context: http://www.nabble.com/new-visual-IDE-tf4821075.html#a13857691 Sent from the OpenLaszlo - User mailing list archive at Nabble.com.
