Hi Wilson,
one of your problems might be the lh2 version. The latest beta 4 has a
fairly good os2 support, whereas the earlier versions still had little
glitches like the one you experienced. The upcoming next release (or
beta5, who knows) will has a decent os/2 support, with a significantly
decreased memory need.
On my site, you will find an updated version of the
install-instructions and a link to the developer site. You might wan't
to try the latest developer release, which works just nicely here -
but don't complain if it does not work for you ;-)
Furthermore, it might very well be that the install instructions are
still incomplete (wrt os/2). But that should be easy to resolve.
