Hello - I've been having great success with latex2html, converting 2000+ page documents to HTML quite effectively (much thanks to the developers!). The only really troubling point is the following (it's really more curious than troubling). For a particular document, a big one, at the end of the conversion I get the following messages: Failed to convert image /home/mmc/tmp/l2h13472/image1852.ps Failed to convert image /home/mmc/tmp/l2h13472/image3952.ps Failed to convert image /home/mmc/tmp/l2h13472/image5002.ps Failed to convert image /home/mmc/tmp/l2h13472/image2902.ps This happens every time, but, with slight modifications to the original tex and style files, precisely which 4 image files fail to convert varies. However, the numbers always form an arithmetic progression with 1050 being the common difference, and the first file is always congruent to 2 or 52 modulo 100. Has anyone else noticed any similar numerical curiosities? Any ideas about the cause? (I'm using Latex Web2c version 7.2 (kpathsea version 3.2) with Latex2HTML version 98.1p1. ) thanks, Matt Conroy Fluent, Inc.
