After some advices, I've checked the LaTeX source,
modified some things, upgraded to 98.2 beta6.
        Unsuccessfully.
Now I'm trying to turn around the problem: I converted
the images manually to GIF and will insert them
directly in the HTML document. But unsuccessfully too.
        I've tried with \htmladdimg, rawhtml and \HTMLcode.
Maybe I missed something with the syntax. I would
be grateful to anybody sending me a working
        example of GIF image insertion.

           Best regards.
