latex2html: Hawaii trouble?

Hi-

I process a Latex file which contains the word Hawai'i and it
comes out Hawai'?i in the latex2html output.  The same occurs
if I spell it Hawaii (gives Hawai?i).  Is this a bug
or is there a special trick to use a double ii?
