I think that's a bit much to ask in a deletion confirmation page. If you want to re-target the artifacts, you can certainly do it beforehand, or even jump to the appropriate artifact from the confirmation page. You're not supposed to be creating branches to replace other branches, so I don't think we want to spend a lot of effort on that case.
