They didn't teach us any physical things to do. I'd be interested in knowing
how that works. We just learned to convince ourselves that what we were
saying was the truth -- not all that hard, really, if you work at it. Once
convinced, you don't have the same galvanic responses that you would if you
believed you were lying. They did play a bit with another method, which was
to convince yourself that the truth (your name, for example, or other
innocuous but sure-to-be-asked information) was a lie and confuse everything
that way. It works, but the first way works better.
