Hi Ron,
LOL...you're missing the most important piece of the puzzle if you are
relying on logic. What is McDougal getting for her covering up for
Clinton? He could issue a presidential pardon for her, but he has not.
Your confidence that all she has to do is tell the truth is quite
admirable, but ignores the power tactics that a prosecutor can use to
intimidate and confuse a witness, even if they are telling the truth.
Logic leads us to the more logical conclusion that McDougal is being
blackmailed by Starr to testify as HE wants her to testify so he can
finally nail the target of his obsessive inquiry.
It's touching that you want to assume Clinton's guilt before evidence is
found to prove it. But it's not very logical and the logic fails even
worse when you try to defend that position. You should listen to Jackie
more carefully. She presents a very logical argument in support of her
position.
BTW, I don't think anyone is insisting that Clinton has done nothing
wrong. Most people are simply waiting, and waiting and waiting and
waiting for Starr to come up with the evidence to prove that he HAS done
something wrong. It seems to me that the true blindness is shown by
people who insist that Clinton HAS done something wrong in the absence of
any evidence proving it.
Bill
