That sounds like a terrible idea. Automatically installing packages
just because of other optional packages (gui frontends) than not
everybody will need, want or use.
It's called a dependency and unfortunately a package manager cannot do
without a dependency on some other networking package. However Michael
is working on a networking client that will be supported out of the box
in FPC. So no external dependency will be needed finally. Unfortunately
this means that the package manager will not be supported for earlier
compiler versions, unless lnet is enabled again.
