One problem may be an undefined environment, i.e. which FPC version should be used for Lazarus trunk. I'm just trying to use FPC 2.6 for Lazarus trunk, but with any number of setup problems. Perhaps I have to remove all older versions from my system, in order to get anything work. For some reason I had no problems in using FPC 2.7 and Lazarus trunk with applications, so far, but the release setup and the IDE seems to be heavily affected.
