That is a very similar experience I had with LCL. My applications
required a lot of visual customisation, and LCL simply wasn't up to the
task. And like you said, things break often between versions. Also the
inconsistency between LCL widgetsets was a real nightmare.

CLX was definitely more consistent between Windows and Linux. I guess
LCL-Qt is probably the closest equivalent to CLX. But do people actually
use LCL-Qt under Windows?
