I am not sure what you mean... I meant Unicode generally speaking, we use UTF-16
in the "official" SynEdit distribution.
I am asking as when I try to enter Chinese with an IME or by the clipboard or
try to load an UTF-8 file it doesn't display a Unicode. My quick tests are based
on Lazarus 0.9.8 beta.
Another issue is that Lazarus SynEdit seems to be based on an rather old SynEdit
release, and thus this could cause problems, since SynEdit changed a bit.
