Hi Juan, A agree with what you said, and I also noticed Object Pascal missing from the "10 programming languages you should learn". Again, I was also horrified to see VB.Net in that list! It would be great if Pascal (or Object Pascal) would become more popular! I personally think it is the cleanest and nicest language out there!
The only movement I've seen recently to refresh Pascal image is the new freepascal web site's design (very needed, by the way). In order to get the attention we need to be a bit more aggressive. Aggressive marketing for both Pascal language and freepascal / lazarus projects.
I revived the fpGUI, fpGFX projects!!! :-) Instead of reinventing the wheel, I took what was a dormant project and revived it. I plan to build all my company projects on fpGUI and have a deadline of December 2006 to complete it. Well, get it to a stable, workable state. So to be aggressive, PLEASE JOIN MY PROJECT and help me complete the Object Pascal GUI framework before the end of the year! The project is coming on nicely, so is the documentation. Visit the website, read the docs and code till your fingers fall off... ;-) Website: http://opensoft.homeip.net/fpgui/ Docs: http://opensoft.homeip.net/fpgui/docs/ Regards, - Graeme - _________________________________________________________________ To unsubscribe: mail [EMAIL PROTECTED] with "unsubscribe" as the Subject archives at http://www.lazarus.freepascal.org/mailarchives
