Since there's VCL.net port from Borland, Lazarus could also support .NET and do similar port of its GUI libs in the future.
You got it all backwards. Exactly because there is VCL.NET and also Chrome is that we definetively don't need a Free Pascal port to .NET, after all Object Pascal users are already well served by those .NET compilers.
