It works. You need of course Your own custom made profiles. You may use
gimp-print or an other driver to print out. Therefore no windows profile
is of use for You.

Did You generate pdf and test printing with acrobat reader?
GIMP has an gimp-print plug-in inside. It comes with gimp-print and should
be installed if You dont switch it off. Threre You have the driver in the
application, no postsript is needed.
