I'm interested in hearing your thoughts about Microsoft AD Application Mode (ADAM). The Microsoft KB article: http://technet2.microsoft.com/WindowsServer/f/?en/library/2a678533-a3c9-4 758-ab8f-c52477fc5c001033.mspx We are looking at two major applications that will rely on ADAM. So, we are beginning to delve a little more into ADAM, with focus on provisioning, ACLs, performance, LDAP-friendliness, and availability. By "LDAP-friendliness", I mean how well ADAM works with existing LDAP applications and management tools. Any ADAM-stories would be welcome. :)
It still isn't fully LDAP compliant. Either "cn" or "sn" is only allowed to be single-valued, I forget which.
