I am mainly deploying LDAP to provide addressing services for mail
clients. (later I plan to use it for samba and twiki authentication) I am
having trouble getting the clients to find stuff in the directory. I can
actually get a search to find my test record using thunderbird (although
its not perfect) but outlook 2003 and outlook 2007 cannot find the same
record. (I know I need to create a custom schema to map some of the
address fields so that they work with microsoft clients but I'm just
focusing on name and email address right now)

Did you bother to take the time to read my response to your previous email? If you had, I think you'd be well aware of the problems that exist with what you are trying to do.
