I know it's a result of having the links down the left; but I can
only imagine that this page must be difficult to read in 640x480.
It scrolls down forever in 1024x768 as is; I imagine that some LEAF
pages could easily hold just as much data.
So, I would say, for the links, we shouldn't run them down the
side; or at least, not down the left side. They could very
easily and nicely go across the top, allowing the full width
of the screen to be used, instead of wasted.

Well, in a word, yes. That's exactly my aim - simple, easy to
read, quick-loading, and easy on the eyes - that site wouldn't
make your eyes tired if you look at it too much.

Very important.
However, Mike's not-so-simple SourceForge style is also nice, and
workable for everything we would ever do. If we weren't going to
use something very simple, then that would be the one to use.
