Will sourceforge let us use rsync as the transfer method? You can run
rsync over ssh as well if that is required. It is useful for transfer only
the changes in files. But if only new files are added then maybe wget or
similar are suitable. I know Charles encourages the use of rsync for
mirroring EigerStein.
