Yes, it is a problem until the PCMCIA and Cardbus system is available in a ROM-compatible subsystem. However this should be able to be worked around in initrd possibly. I can't say that I have a high priority with narrowing it down to PCMCIA support as I'm not specifically looking into laptops. Even with this concern, all you would need is an on-board NIC to use as eth0 to work-around. I need to go over the newly added PXE boot doc for Bering as well to understand the scope better as has already been done. -- ~Lynn Avants Linux Embedded Appliance Firewall Developer http://leaf.sourceforge.net http://guitarlynn.homelinux.org:81 ------------------------------------------------------- This SF.Net email is sponsored by: INetU Attention Web Developers & Consultants: Become An INetU Hosting Partner.
