Now - if one have deployed several boxes all over the place (I have one in another country) - to use DHCP/BOOTP would mean that one have to have another box in place to serve this install (unless - of cause - I missunderstand something here). If we could get the floppy to set a "real" ip on itself and copy all packages trough SCP (or TFTP for that matter) - deplyment in the field would be pretty easy to manage.... A floppy and the "remote" team would be done :-)
