Agree.

There are additional issues speaking against adding modules to lrp's
openvpn needs tun.ko as well, if we package modules with the lrp, in which 
one? openvpn, aiccu, both? Then we do have it four times around (openvpn, 
openvpnz and modules.tgz) - and each needs to be updated if a new kernel is 
compiled, not to mention the different kernel versions ...
