Lynn/Mike and list members: I got one too here in India. Cost me $40 eq. Qty, duties and demand being the culprits. I looked at the board. It has a r8 on the top which is for WP. The manufacturer has not given a jumper though. Looks like we have to rig up a jumper. It also says we can write and set the register for WP enable from the motherboard. Can some one who understands this better create a small c program for us to deploy please?
Sice 32MB was a lot, I partitioned it into 2 x 16mb partitions. Maybe the other 16MB can be used for backup, archive of some sort. It would packages to deploy. During installation, we can install packages from there and save on to the boot partition. Any other ideas on this abundance of space can be used? I never thought I'd come to a day where 16MB is a lot when OS occupy GBs as a norm and memory is available at $15-20 for 128MB.-:) Mohan ------------------------------------------------------- This sf.net email is sponsored by: Jabber - The world's fastest growing real-time communications platform!
