"Guess", indeed. Probably your firewall ruleset is blocking the connection. But that's really a wild guess. Try reporting with the usual details ... you know, incidentals like which version of LEAF you are asking about, what you've tried doing to get it to work, what the failures actually look like, whether your logs contain any information about the failures, and the basics of your setup as outlined in the SR FAQ ... and perhaps somebody here will be able to help (this applies to your second question as well).
Also anyone know what is necessary to get snmpd to work. I install libm,libdb,netsnmpd but I think there is another place I need to change somtheing before it will work for mrtg?
