I believe there are two specific places where you will need to modify the files. The first is the hosts.allow file, the second is the network.conf file (atleast under dachstein). You will need external_port0 defined. there is a description within the file. hope that helped joey -----Original Message----- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:leaf-user-admin@;lists.sourceforge.net]On Behalf Of Ray Olszewski Sent: Friday, October 25, 2002 9:35 AM To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Subject: Re: [leaf-user] how to get sshd to work on external ip At 01:47 AM 10/25/01 -0600, David Blood wrote: >I know I must be missing something simple. Try reporting with the usual details ... you know, incidentals like which version of LEAF you are asking about, what you've tried doing to get it to work, what the failures actually look like, whether your logs contain any information about the failures, and the basics of your setup as outlined in the SR FAQ ... and perhaps somebody here will be able to help (this applies to your second question as well). >Also anyone know what is necessary to get snmpd to work.
