I was wondering if there is any known issues in Bering (V1.1) and/or the Shorewall that came with (1.3.?) that might cause it to temporarily stop forwarding a port...
One of the server stopped responding to queries while another (but on another segment, the one of the DMZ) was still accessible...
According to the logs it could still access the outside (Internet) but the port that was forwarded to it appeared to no longer be forwarded.
A few minutes after the initial attempt to connect everything returned to normal...
Any suggestions?
