Joey : I'm using HTB with Bering 2.0 without problems. I don't use wondershaper neither htb.init scripts since I use my own made scripts with tc tool.
Reading in your first mail, you've wrote : # tc qdisc add dev eth0 root but I think the correct sentece should be : # tc qdisc add dev eth0 root handle 1: htb Also, remember to copy the apropiate modules to /lib/modules and load them. Reread main HTB page section Downloads. The above is the same problem that is plagueing atleast some of us, myself included. Which leads me back to there possibly being a problem with the way either the kernel or tc applications have been compiled. A question to be asked now, is ANYONE currently using the htb.init scripts, based on the Bering documentation for tc/qos-htb? If so, please speak up, and atleast count as testimony, otherwise I believe we need to take a closer look at the QoS package, and quite possibly the TC package. I am willing to continue to test this, if others are willing to work with me.
