I am still working with a very old LEAF firewall: Bering-uClibc 2.4.1 !!
It is still working flawlessly nut I find it now, 6.5 years later
somewhat old.
However, the hardware is an K6. I think from 1998 and in those days USB
was a very new thing and starting from USB was not available.
Now the Bering package has grown to sizes of 84 MB and I can't fit that
onto a floppy disk.
My current version is split into a floppy with linux, initrd.lrp,
ldlinux.sys and the config files. The rest is stored on an USB-stick as
I load the USB-driver from the floppy (is I thought in initrd) and the
load the rest of the modules.
Can somebody give some instructions how to make a comparable set-up for
the latest version (I thought 4.3.2).
I would be very grateful as the world has not ended so I can install a
new firewall (:.
