Hi Niels,

The build environment I tested it with is RedHat 9. Let me know
what error do you get when you try to build on RH9.

Atheros (madwifi) driver included in WISP-Dist is quite outdated.  
One of the reasons is that there weren't many testers, if you're
willing to try it on an outdoor link I will integrate a newer
version and make a new build.

As for best practice - I have a 150+ router network, and we use 
OSPF everywhere. If you just enable OSPF it should start working 
without any additional configuration.
