I hope this isn't a silly question, but I'm wondering if it possible
to view the full details of filtered transactions.

For example, to view transactions for, say, mutual fund investments, I
do:

$ ledger reg investments
2008/01/21 Purchase Assets:Investments 370.949 ABC
370.949 ABC
2008/12/26 Reinvest Income Assets:Investments 9.928 ABC
380.877 ABC
2008/12/28 Sell Assets:Investments -380.877
ABC 0
                                Assets:Investments
$4402.94 $4402.94

So I can see my position in shares, but not what I actually paid for
them. So I do:

$ ledger -r reg investments
2008/01/21 Purchase Equity:Starting
$3140.89 $3140.89
2008/12/26 Reinvest Income Income:Dividends
$113.68 $3254.57
2008/12/28 Sell Income:Capital Gains
$1148.37 $4402.94

Of course, now I have the opposite problem -- I don't see the actual
number of shares I own. It'd be nice if I could get some kind of
combined output, something like:

2008/01/21 Purchase Assets:Investments 370.949 ABC
370.949 ABC
                                Equity:Starting $-3140.89
$3140.89
2008/12/26 Reinvest Income Assets:Investments 9.928 ABC
380.877 ABC
                                Income:Dividends $-113.68
$3254.57
2008/12/28 Sell Assets:Investments -380.877
ABC 0
                                Assets:Investments
$4402.94 $3254.57
                                Income:Capital Gains $-1148.37
$4402.94

Hopefully this makes sense what I'm showing. In general, I guess for
investment transactions -- or I suppose any transaction involving unit
or currency conversion -- it seems like you really need to see both
sides of the transaction to tell what's going on.

Thanks.
