Mark. I am the same - don't like laptops at all. I got the mini since
I can use anywhere - its tiny, quiet, reasonably powerful and
portable. I am bumping my RAM to 4gb for virtual servers with vmware.
I like it so much I think i will be getting a second strictly to use
for networked vm's for development.
