Well, Ledger can actually do this. Any posting's amount can be an
arbitrary expression. And in 3.0, you'll be able to refer to the
current total value of any account up to that point in the Ledger file.
What does posting mean? Does a posting mean that
2006/10/15 Exxon
Expenses:Auto:Gas $10.00 --> one posting
Liabilities:MasterCard --> another posting
How arbitrary could the expression be now? Could it refer to other account?
Could it use if conditions?
BTW, when will Ledger 3.0 come?
