have abandoned it long ago for it's complexity, constantly-changing syntax
and bear of an install. hledger was a breath of fresh air, seemingly more
stable, installable, comprehensible command-set and clear documentation,
and it has allowed me to continue to be a *ledger user. Your work, Simon,
clearing the path and helping civilians across it, is one of the examples I
point to and say "THIS is why I only use open source software". At the same
time, I think that John and c++ ledger are taking bold steps forward, with
features almost as complex as the real world, and all of the other
community development around these projects makes me happy I stayed. This
is synergy.
