Haven't been here in a while, but have lately upped my use of Ledger in some significant ways. I had decided to switch from a gui accounting package (TurboCash) to Ledger a couple of years ago, but life intervened. I'm happy I've finally been able to start the process and am pleased with how it's been going.
Though late in reply I thought it might still be useful to register another data point: Emacs + ledger-mode I've been an Emacs user and a cli convert for about 7 years now.
