Hi Craig, thanks for the good work. I regularly contribute to open source 
projects that I use but unfortunately I don't have experience with C++ so 
contributing here in a meaningful way is problematic. And come to think of 
it, there is very little I would like to see by way of additional features 
in ledger, but perhaps I'm not imaginative enough. 

But since I have your ear :-), I did discover one rough edge that had me 
scratching my head a few times: ledger gives a very non-description error 
if the source file does not end with a new-line character. Perhaps adding a 
newline before the parsing step could be an easy fix?
