There is, but it’s nontrivial, error-prone and will break an update some day. Basically, colors are hardcoded in the default values for the --balance-format, --budget-format, --cleared-format, and --register-format options. To customize colors, you’ll have to copy their default values into your .ledgerrc and replace blue with whichever other color you find readable.
