Is anyone out there of a mechanical disposition? I recently managed to
write off my old Alfa, at 20Mph - go figure!! and I'm not one who polishes
and shines his machine like some nerd who knows what Torque actually is!!!
;-)
Anyway, I've always fancied an old, slightly battered Land Rover, the ones
with the wheel on the bonnet, ex military sort of thing with the benches
in the back etc. Quetion is, what do I need to look out for from a
mechanical angle? I know where to put Fuel, Oil and Water and that the
middle peddle is for wimps, but that's about my mechanical knowledge and I
don't want to get sold a pup!
