Downside though is that given the current economic climate, Papa Smurf
might not sell up if a Premier League gravy train were beckoning, and
the ownership does still seem to me to be something that refuses to go
away......

Of course promotion. I wouldn't worry about parachute payments either...

seems to have handled the 3rd - 2nd step up without a problem and KB
seems
to have the finances under control; I'd have every confidence that they
both
could handle the next step up too.
