Promotion, of course, because:
A) We're Leeds United, and we belong in the top tier of English football, and B) Even if we came back down, providing we hadn't spent irresponsibly, we'd have a year's worth of Premier League money plus the parachute payments to strengthen our assault for a second - and hopefully more lasting - promotion. It would be very nice if both of those games were draws. > Millwall are the only other team in the top 6 with 2 home games. The implication being that they draw, we win, and so advance up the table. This has made me think - do we want go get promoted? Stupid question you might say, and I'd agree, all clubs/players/fans want promotion. But I'm only talking about this season. Would promotion this season be too early? Wouldn't we just end up being humiliated in the PL and come straight back down? Personally, I'd be happy with mid table safety achieved with a good six to eight games left. How about a poll? Vote: A Promotion B Mid table security And let's not even think about option C!
