The problems are not just at the back. Last night the back 4 were shocking.I
think Collins is weak especially when coupled with Bessone and an ageing Naylor.
I think Bradley Johson is painfully short at this level and I think Gradel and
Sam are inconsistent the former hardly figured at all last night after being
the
best player on the pitch on Satdi.
As for Becchio, I sat in the Barnsley end last night and someone commented that
they couldn't believe what a carthorse he was considering he was on the edge of
the Argie world cup squad. I nearly pissed mysen laughing. Effort alone is not
good enough and surely he has to be put out to grass now.

Larry has promised changes. Problem is that it seems the weaknesses are at the
back which is where we are lacking too many options.

Not having seen the game to make a reasoned analysis of the faults, I will
nevertheless attempt a predicted or preferred lineup v Donkeys:

Higgs (assuming Kaspar is still out)

Connolly  Bruce  Er.......?????  Hmmmmm........White?

Snoddy  Killer or Howson  Faye    Gradel or Sam

Somma    McCormack

Or...........I know it didn't work against Forest, but I wonder if he might
play
with just one striker (if so, it must surely be Somma.........unless he thinks
the workload of a lone striker means he has to stick with Luciano) and play
Clayton in central MF as well.
