As for Becchio, I sat in the Barnsley end last night and someone commented that
they couldn't believe what a carthorse he was considering he was on the edge of
the Argie world cup squad. I nearly pissed mysen laughing. Effort alone is not
good enough and surely he has to be put out to grass now.
I don't think Becchio will be dropped until Paynter is fit, but I do
think that Paynter was bought to replace Becchio.
