Definitely not, I always nabbed pens when I played. Sometimes ppl would be mildly aggrieved, but then again I didn't see them volunteering for that pen in the 89th minute (in the old days when a match was 90mins) when we were 1-0 down.
I always found the main contention was for free kicks around the penalty area, chance for that 20yrd free kick into the top corner, but 99% of the time ended up with either a goal kick or catching practice for the keeper! -----Original Message----- From: [email protected] [mailto:[email protected]] On Behalf Of Eric Barlier Sent: 08 November 2010 21:16 To: Robert Heath Cc: [email protected]; David Woolmer Subject: Re: [LU] Cov "Gradel and combined to win a penalty. Gradel had a tantrum to get to take it instead of Becchio" I thought it was a "rule" that the player that was fouled should never take the penalty! have anybody else heard that?
