Definitely not, I always nabbed pens when I played.  Sometimes ppl would be
mildly aggrieved, but then again I didn't see them volunteering for that pen
in the 89th minute (in the old days when a match was 90mins) when we were
1-0 down.

I always found the main contention was for free kicks around the penalty
area, chance for that 20yrd free kick into the top corner, but 99% of the
time ended up with either a goal kick or catching practice for the keeper!
