Definitely correct in airing when it was ready to air. That's what news is (or should be) all about. The fact that delegates had the nerve to admit that they voted based on the news story (probably a cop out anyway) just proves the point even further.
They are supposed to be doing their job, in voting for a member Association, to host based on the strength of the bid, not on their personal feelings and self interest. They are a joke and a bad one at that!
