We are still very much being defended by Typhoons! It's what the RAF calls a Eurofighter. Not to be confused with the WW2 tank-buster Typhoon. Two Eurofighter Typhoons were involved in the flypast. the only surviving WW2 Typhoon is in the RAF museum at Hendon.
