I notice that Huddersfield drew 1 - 1 with Bournemouth in their League One playoff semi final first leg.
So with a win tomorrow Bournemouth would get to the play off final. I also notice that Bournemouth finished a full 16 points behind Huddersfield in the league. Personally, I don't like the play-offs. I think the league is a league, and success should be judged over the full course of the season, not in three games. I think it's an injustice that a team finishing 16 points behind another could get promoted in place of the higher finishing team. I understand that neutrals enjoy the games, and it brings money in to clubs, and widens the possibilities for the top 10/12 clubs toward the end of the season rather than the top five or six, but I still don't like them. Question is am I alone? Does everyone else think the play-offs are a good idea?
