It's an americanisation of our national sport and, as such I am against them on that principle. However, everyone knows "them's the rules" at the start of the season and they do add extra spice to the tail end of the season, keeping interest for teams who would otherwise be playing a number of meaningless games every year which would see a drop in revenue. On this years showing, I don't think we would have beaten Swansea over two legs i'm afraid. :-(
