Boycotting Bate's cash machines are the only thing that hurts Bates.
It would take a superhuman effort by fans to do that as for many people
it is impossible to separate the football from Bates. They see anything
that hurts the club (even if it removes Bates) as being anathema.
I think it will probably take the unlikely threat of something legal or
a very stupid/clever bastard who manages to but him out.
Looks like we will be waiting for an obit. in the Monaco Evening Post
before we see this sorted and even then it'll be a mess.
One thing I do know (and I think Bates doesn't, is that shrouds have
deep pockets)
