Where does one start? ;) Seriously though, the points about SG's acumen (or lack of it) in the transfer market makes me wonder that the "problem" is not buying a good player, but more having a team blueprint in the head and buying the "right" player for that blueprint.
I'm probably not being very clear. Do we play 4-5-1 because it's SG's vision of how we should always play in the best of all worlds? Or is it because he feels it's the best system to suit the "limited" resources that we have. If it's the latter, then it makes buying a new player a nightmare. Your ultimate aim might be a 4-2-4 wonder team, but the players you buy to make that a reality are probably going to look crap in the interim 4-5-1 Damian On Fri, Aug 19, 2011 at 10:11 AM, Dr Michael Benjamin <[email protected]> wrote: > [....] > I'd love to hear what others think. > > Dr Michael Benjamin, > _______________________________________________ Leedslist mailing list Info and options: http://mailman-new.greennet.org.uk/mailman/listinfo/leedslist To unsubscribe, email [email protected] MARCHING ON TOGETHER (There's it)
